As an Assistant Manager, FM, you will be responsible for both strategic planning and day-to-day operations, particularly in relation to buildings / departments / facilities and premises within the Atlantis Hotel Resort. Job duties include but not limited to building maintenance, environmental / safety regulation compliance, grounds maintenance, restaurant support, organization of events, space assignments with regards to utilities consumptions, energy management, control and analysis. You will be assigned to a specific sub department but may be required to perform in multiple areas.
You will be responsible to provide facilities and reliability engineering support for the operation of facilities area. This includes enhancing safety, reliability and integrity of facilities, ensuring compliance to codes and regulations, promoting best practices, providing subject matter expertise and technical support, and collaboration on business opportunities. Ensure that all plant, equipment, services and related MEP equipment installed within the Resort are operating efficiently in good condition, reliable by operational analysis of input versus output. Identify and mitigate high technical risks by developing/adopting and supporting reliability programs for plant facilities. Create program of standards and initiatives to increase facility reliability; maintain and improve this program through on-going auditing, subject matter expertise and communication with operations/maintenance team. Maintain and monitor effectiveness of reliability initiatives and maintain a Risk Watch Report. Provide effective data support to the assistant engineers, team leaders and technicians, to maximize the efficiency of the PPM and reactive / predictive maintenance and utilities management. Coordinate the development of utilities and energy management practice and programs.
The primary goal is to focus on using best business practice to improve efficiency, by reducing operating costs while increasing productivity. In this exciting role, you will also be responsible to provide leadership to the assistant engineers, team leaders and technicians, to maximize the efficiency of the PPM and reactive maintenance. About You
The ideal candidate must have a bachelor's degree / diploma in mechanical / electrical engineering or any related field with a minimum of 5+ years within the engineering industry as a Facilities Engineer / Reliability Engineer / Plant Engineer.
Working knowledge of ASME API and NEB regulations will be an asset. Competent in Microsoft Office particularly Access and Excel. Fully conversant with the AutoCAD, CAFM, utilities and energy management
You will have to demonstrate strong data and analytical skills, extensive background in preventative / reactive / predictive / maintenance, utilities & energy management. Ability to be a "hands-on" engineer, while work independently and productively within a team environment. Multi-task with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. In addition to this, you will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to interface effectively with all levels of management.
