Job Description

Key Responsibilities
1. Seller Management & Onboarding
Support identification, onboarding, and activation of new marketplace sellers in line with category expansion plans
Act as a day-to-day point of contact for existing sellers, resolving operational and commercial queries
Coordinate seller agreements, documentation, commercials, VAT setup, and compliance with internal teams (Legal, Finance, Tech)
Track sellers go-live timelines and ensure faster TAT from onboarding to first sale
2. Category & Assortment Execution
Assist in expanding category width by identifying assortment gaps and high-potential SKUs
Ensure all listed products adhere to Home Centre's category guidelines on pricing, quality, and content
Support seasonal and campaign-led assortment planning (e.g., Ramadan, Annual Sale, New Launches)
Monitor SKU productivity and recommend actions for low-performing or non-compliant listings
3. Marketplace Operations & Business Hygiene
Ensure smooth order fulfilment by coordinating with sellers, logistics, and customer operations teams
Track and reduce cancellations, returns, SLA breaches, and delivery delays
Support dispute resolution, chargebacks, and seller escalations in coordination with relevant teams
Ensure adherence to marketplace SOPs and operational policies
4. Performance Tracking & Reporting
Track key marketplace KPIs including GMV, order count, cancellations %, returns %, seller NPS, and content compliance
Maintain weekly and monthly performance dashboards and business reviews
Analyze seller-level and category-level performance to identify growth and optimization opportunities
5. Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with internal teams including Content, Tech, Finance, Legal, Logistics, and Digital Marketing
Ensure timely closure of seller queries by driving follow-ups and accountability across teams
Support marketplace-specific tech enhancements, process improvements, and new initiatives
6. Customer Experience & NPS
Monitor marketplace-specific NPS drivers and support corrective action plans
Identify recurring customer issues and work with sellers and internal teams to improve experience
Support initiatives aimed at improving marketplace trust, quality perception, and repeat purchase behavior
Qualifications:
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field
3-6 years of experience in e-commerce, marketplace operations, category management, or vendor management
Mandatory prior work experience in the UAE e-commerce or retail ecosystem
Experience managing third-party sellers, brands, or vendors within a marketplace model is highly preferred
Strong understanding of UAE consumer expectations, logistics realities, payment methods, and regulatory requirements
Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory
Willingness to travel locally within the UAE for seller meetings, warehouse visits, and operational reviews as required
Skills & Competenci
Strong understanding of e-commerce marketplace operations and seller ecosystems
High attention to detail with strong execution and follow-through
Data-driven mindset with solid Excel skills (dashboards, pivots, basic analysis)
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
