Job Description

This position is responsible to ensure the day-to-day functioning of finance department by maintaining accurate and timely financial records for the organization. Ensure all the compliances are properly met and to prevent company from incurring any financial loss. Ensure timely reporting to management, all banking transactions are properly verified, and all the payments are duly checked before releasing.

Books of Accounts-



Day book checking of all group companies to ensure accounting entries are adequate with correct voucher type and series as per laid down policies. Vouching/Verification to ensure proper supporting's are available with adequate authorization. Checking files to ensure they are adequately labelled, indexed and stored in warehouse in timely manner Checking server folders to ensure they are maintained as per prescribed guidelines.

Banking Transactions & Treasury:



Ensure accuracy in all banking transactions. Ensure all charges are accurately charged by bank. Ensure optimal utilization of funds so that company can save on interest costs. TR reconciliations, bank reconciliation & security deposits reconciliation is done on timely basis. Cash count is done on regular intervals. All Treasury documents are properly kept in safe.

Accounts Payable:



Ensure timely payment to all the Vendors are done as per due date. Ensure Sufficient documentation is present at the time of processing the payment. Ensure necessary approvals are taken before processing the payments. Ensure Payroll is timely and accurately processed.

Accounts Receivable:



Ensure timely booking of collection entries Ensure all the receivable accounts show accurate balance. Ensure all the reports are submitted to management on Timely basis. Ensure all Customer KYC Documents are in place. Ensure Signed SOA is received from Customers on timely basis.

Property & Insurance:



Ensure all the Insurance policies are timely renewed. In case of claim Ensure the company gets full claim Ensure all KYC documents of Tenant & Landlord are in place. Ensure all properties are timely rented and notices are timely sent to Tenants.

Statutory Audit:



Timely completion of annual audits of all Group Companies. Scrutinizing Ledgers to ensure correctness and logical flow of supplier, vendors, Debtors, Revenue & General Ledgers. Finalization of accounts as per the application Accounting Standards & IFRS Liaising with External Auditors to ensure timely completion of audit. Preparation of schedules, workings as per requirement of external auditor.

Value Added Tax:



Ensure timely preparation and submission of VAT Return. Ensure adequacy of supporting documents & maintenance of books of accounts as per UAE VAT Regulations. Ensure all the documents are available and proper FTA file is maintained for VAT. Awareness of all latest developments in statutory laws and regulations and implementation of the same in company systems.

Requirements




MBA in Finance or CA is preferred.


Experience in Preparation of all financial statements Good knowledge of Tally Software Accurate & timely reporting to Reporting Manager and Directors Manage a team of 10 -15 people * Team Management: Experience of at least 2 years.
