The Assistant Manager - Business Excellence will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing plant, focusing on process optimization, waste reduction, and operational efficiency. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies to achieve cost savings, improve quality, and enhance productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify opportunities for process improvements within manufacturing and support functions.
Lead Kaizen, Lean, and Six Sigma projects to eliminate waste and streamline workflows.
Develop and monitor KPIs to measure process efficiency and effectiveness.
Support the deployment of Business Excellence frameworks (EFQM, TPM, ISO, etc.).
Ensure alignment of improvement projects with organizational goals and strategic objectives.
Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Track and report project savings, ROI, and performance improvements to management.
Conduct awareness sessions on Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement tools.
Mentor employees to build a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Industrial Engineering
Experience: 4-7 years of experience in manufacturing, process improvement, or business excellence roles. Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt preferred).
Skills:
