About the Job: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly talented Assistant IT Manager to join the team at Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa, Kuwait. Your main duties will include: Communicate status, risks and opportunities to the Director of IT. Supervise all activities within the functional area. Provide second level of support to guests and users. Capacity planning and reporting. Ensure systems and procedures are in place and that they adhere to the Jumeirah IT Security Policy. Ensure Access Control is in line with the Jumeirah IT Security policy. Manage all local processes for IT hardware event management, enhancements, patch deployment and application fixes. Managing local implementation of projects, testing of applications and hardware upgrades. Communicate new or amended procedures to relevant departments, colleagues in a timely manner, ensuring they have been understood and followed. Responsible for Asset management and inventory. Responsible for managing the help desk and ensure that all incidents are logged and managed. Monitor IT processes to ensure compliance with stated standards and identified best practices. Provide consultancy services to the management team to better expedite access and use of information in the property. Ensure the availability of resources to enhance customer service. Any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the management. About you: In order to be considered for this role, you should have an internationally recognized qualification in Information Technology or basic networking and systems administration certificate, with the general IT Knowledge e.g. networking, PC's, Printers, operating systems, office applications, back office applications, terminal services, web applications and you should have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position in a 5 star luxury Hotel environment or related industry. It is desirable to have Middle East experience. It is also essential that you have strong command of English language; Arabic is highly desirable.
