Support the Housekeeping Manager in the daily management of the Housekeeping Department
Allocate and supervise work duties for Housekeeping Team Members
Conduct routine inspections of check-out rooms and spot checks of occupied rooms to ensure quality standards are met
Identify, report, and follow up on maintenance issues or operational defects
Inspect service areas, storerooms, corridors, and public areas on a regular basis
Assist in scheduling and supervising deep cleaning programs and special projects
Train, coach, and support Room Attendants and other Housekeeping Team Members to ensure performance meets required standards
Assist with stock control, linen management, and the proper maintenance of housekeeping equipment
Provide excellent guest service, including handling VIP rooms and special guest requests
Ensure full compliance with hotel brand standards, health & safety policies, and company procedures at all times
Step in to manage departmental operations in the absence of the Housekeeping Manager
What Are We Looking For?
Previous experience in a Housekeeping supervisory or assistant management role
Proven ability to support and manage a diverse team effectively
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high cleanliness standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A passion for delivering exceptional guest service
Good organizational and time-management skills
Proficiency with computers and hotel systems, including Microsoft Office (preferred)
