Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented

Temporary Assistant General Accountant

to join our Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals to gain practical experience in core accounting functions and contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.


You will support our finance team in a variety of accounting tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. On-the-job training will be provided, making this a great first step for individuals aiming to build a career in accounting or finance.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing journal entries and maintaining the general ledger. Support account reconciliations and help resolve discrepancies. Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing processes. Aid in the preparation of financial statements and internal reports. Ensure accuracy and compliance with company accounting policies and standards. Provide administrative and documentation support during audits. Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records. Learn and support intercompany accounting processes, as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required). Basic knowledge of accounting principles such as GAAP or IFRS. Proficiency in

Microsoft Excel

; familiarity with accounting software is a plus. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage time effectively and meet assigned deadlines.
