The entity is primarily engaged in buy-sell of IMI Critical Engineering's products and even engaged in the installation, maintenance and services of those products sold to the customers in the Middle East and Africa markets.
Position: Assistant Manager Finance
Reporting to : Finance Controller
Location Reporting: Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai.
Job Purpose:
Overall responsibility to maintain and manage end-to-end book-keeping, of the company, as per IFRS with a responsibility to manage and clear accounts with external and internal auditors on time and without any qualification.
Asst. Manager - Finance Key Accountabilities:
Financial book-keeping which includes (but not restricted to) AR, AP, Fixed assets and Journals as per IFRS.
Corporate treasury management, Banking relations, Hedging.
Month end book closing activities (includes revenue and expense accounting, provisioning for liabilities, depreciation, preparation and analysis of cost centre reports, cost and cash analysis, cash/bank entries, bank reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliations etc.).
Preparation of financials and audit coordination with external and internal auditors and lead the process for timely closure and without any qualifications in the audit report.
Managing all the regulatory requirements applicable for a company in Free Trade Zone (Jafza).
Awareness of UAE VAT regulations including preparation and submission of tax returns, providing all necessary clarification to the VAT authorities during the audit.
Sufficient knowledge of Letter of Credit, Bill Discounting, Guarantees/Bonds, CAD requirements and other financial instruments. Should have working knowledge of SAP and Tally ERP.
Should have an expert knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, Power Point and other MS Office tools.
Essential Requirements:
ACCA / CA / CPA / master's degree in finance and Accounts.
5-6 years post qualification in MNCs (B2B trading organisation or O&G / Valve trading organisation) in UAE.
Work experience in Dubai Free Zone/Jafza is an added advantage.
