What you\'ll do

You\xe2\x80\x99ll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests:
  • You will be responsible for assisting in the overseeing of the Housekeeping Operations to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.
  • You are responsible to assist the Executive Housekeeper in the daily operation of the Housekeeping Department and guide and develop a committed multicultural team to ensure the impeccable DC standards are met in all areas.
  • Assists in the oversight of the daily shift operations of Housekeeping. Works with colleagues to ensure property guestrooms, public space and colleagues areas are clean and well maintained.
  • Completes inspections and holds people accountable for corrective action.
  • Ensuring guest and colleague satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget.
  • You\xe2\x80\x99ll also participate in the management of the department\xe2\x80\x99s controllable expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted goals. Understand the impact of department\xe2\x80\x99s operations on the overall property financial goals and objectives and manages to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.

  • You will assist with all recruitment processes, departmental training and disciplinary procedures.

  • As a detail orientated and hands on Team Player with strong interpersonal skills, you will be able to interact with all departments to ensure a cohesive working environment and to get things done.
  • You will be passionate, dynamic and guest focused who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of guest service and provide creative solutions to our guests.
  • You will be knowledgeable of PMS, payroll and purchasing systems and be computer literate.
  • You will be able to comprehend budgets, P&L statements, payroll and purchasing systems to assist in the financial management of the department.
  • Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. You have great communication skills with a strong guest service ethic.
  • English is the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in this language.
  • You will have a least 3 years experience in a similar position in a luxury 5 star brand, with some pre-opening or major refurbishment experience. Middle East experience would be advantageous.
