This position is strictly for night-shift work. Only candidates who are willing and able to work night shifts exclusively should apply. Diploma or Engineering degree in Electrical , Mechanical or Mechatronics can apply.

The Technical Support Assistant is responsible for providing hands-on technical support for robotic systems, conveyors, and automated material handling equipment during warehouse fulfillment operations. The role ensures maximum system uptime through effective troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and rapid response to operational issues in a fast-paced automated warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide real-time technical support for warehouse robots, conveyors, and automation systems during fulfillment and operational hours. Monitor system performance and respond promptly to alarms, faults, and breakdowns to minimize downtime. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on robotic systems, conveyors, sensors, drives, motors, and related automation equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and basic control system issues and replace or repair faulty components. Support system start-up, shutdown, and recovery procedures to ensure smooth warehouse operations. Assist with commissioning, testing, and optimization of robotic and conveyor systems. Escalate complex technical issues to engineers or OEM support teams and assist during root cause analysis. Maintain accurate maintenance records, fault logs, and service reports. Ensure compliance with safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and company policies while performing maintenance activities. Support spare parts handling, inventory tracking, and proper storage of maintenance tools and components. Coordinate with operations teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal impact on fulfillment performance. Perform basic system inspections to identify potential failures or safety hazards before they impact operations. Carry out additional technical or operational tasks as assigned by the supervisor or reporting manager.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
