Key Responsibilities:
Design and create digital impressions and 3D models for various dental restorations, including crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays and veneers, using EXOCAD software.
Operate and maintain CAD/CAM equipment, ensuring proper calibration, functionality, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to understand patient needs and specifications for restorations.
Ensure the highest standards of quality, fit, and aesthetics for all dental prosthetics produced.
Perform scanning and modeling of dental impressions, converting them into digital files for production.
Select appropriate materials for restorations based on patient requirements and manufacturer guidelines.
Conduct post-processing, including polishing, finishing, and adjustments to ensure the final product meets the required specifications.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in CAD/CAM technology and dental materials to ensure the laboratory remains at the forefront of innovation.
Adhere to all safety, infection control, and quality control protocols during production and handling.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all work performed, including materials used and procedures followed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Dental Technician with specialization in CAD/CAM technology.
Strong proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Exocad, Millbox, etc.).
Experience with milling machines, 3D printers, and other CAD/CAM-related equipment.
Knowledge of dental anatomy, materials, and restoration techniques.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment and software issues.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with dental professionals and patients.
Certification or formal education in dental technology.
