Overview of the role At Al Futtaim Motors, a leading player in the automotive sector, we are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic individual to join our team as an Assistant Demand & Supply Manager. You will be responsible for operational plans on monthly and quarterly basis to ensure optimum supply of new vehicles to ensure achievement of budgeted objectives.
What you will do
Develop and propose order plan and engine ratio plan to decide on production volume by Model/Channel/Grade/Colour to achieve agreed sales plans
Prepare, analyse for optimum Negotiation with TMC on optimum supply of Model by continuously reviewing with channels and management to achieve required Month of Stocks Ratio
Prepare and build Grades mix plan for each model and incorporate it in monthly ordering in order to maximize revenue
Prepare and forecast accurate trend through analysing past trends by Color /Grade/Channels to maintain optimum supply across the range and grades
Prepare analysis for logical rationalization of the line-up through number of materials reductions to order to increase efficiency and reduce cost of maintenance
Prepare a presentation on SSOP (Sales Stock Order Plan) to obtain a sign off on monthly production volume showing the order recommendation and rationale to senior management
Conduct regular meetings with other departments within Toyota & Lexus to align sales forecasting, campaign plans, marketing activities, product changes, logistics requirements vs order plan to maintain the health of the stock
Required skills to be successful
Basic understanding of Demand & Supply Operations
Excellent Excel Skills
Use of Systems ( SAP / Cosmos / Tableau / Alteryx )
Excellent communication & Negotiation skills
About the team The role will report to the Senior Manager - Sales Planning, Demand & Supply. The jobholder is in direct liaison with TMC\'s D&S planning teams, Sales Channels, PDH Parts ordering Pricing Team, Brand and Marketing Team, Finance Team and Senior Management team.
What equips you for the role
Degree with demonstrated experience in supply chain.
Minimum 5-year work experience in Automotive brands
Toyota Brand experience is highly desired
Supply Chain Knowledge
Focus on driving commercial results with measurable KPIs
SAP Knowledge
Experienced in Data Analytics tools
Excellent attention to details and has good negotiation and presentation skills
Has the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and manage time effectively
