B&S Group is seeking an for a detail-oriented and driven Assistant Controller to join our Finance team with main focus of assisting Senior controller in overseeing financial operations within our Government & Defense (G&D) business along with wider overview of overall business segments.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled finance professional with 2-3 years of experience in an assistant controller capacity, looking to take the next step in their career within a fast-paced, international environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
• Perform general ledger accounting and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts.
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with applicable external and internal policies.
• Assist with preparation of audits.
• Help improve and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Work with the Senior Controller on ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• 2-3 years of experience in accounting or a controller/assistant controller role.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with accounting systems and ERP tools.
• Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
