B&S Group is seeking an for a detail-oriented and driven

Assistant Controller

to join our Finance team with main focus of assisting Senior controller in overseeing financial operations within our Government & Defense (G&D) business along with wider overview of overall business segments.


This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled accountant with 2-3 years of experience in a controller or assistant controller capacity, looking to take the next step in their career within a fast-paced, international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements. Perform general ledger accounting and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts. Support the month-end and year-end close processes. Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with applicable external and internal policies. Assist with preparation of audits. Help improve and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures. Work with the Senior Controller on ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. 2-3 years of experience in accounting or a controller/assistant controller role. Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting. Hands-on experience with accounting systems and ERP tools. Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail. Excellent analytical and communication skills.
