The Assistant Contract Specialist will be responsible to provide visibility and transparency in inbound and outbound shipments, to carry out warehouse administrative responsibilities, to coordinate between operations and client services as well as couriers and other agent.
Detailed Responsibilities:
Provides assistance with regards to process improvement
Cooperates with Client Services Executives to ensure that processes are followed
Provides necessary documentation for ex works and outbound shipments
Cooperates with clients in order to prepare documents for import or export shipments
Drafts mismatch reporting among physical stock and system data
Reports any issues of non-conformance
Prepares necessary reports on stock counts, inbound & outbound status reports, stock movement, aging report and any other reports as required by the business
Accountable for 100% accuracy of the master data on the assigned area of responsibility
Elevates potential issues and opportunities for improvement to the Line Manager
Any other related duties/projects assigned by the Line Manager from time to time in order to meet business needs
Qualifications & Characteristics:
Education: Minimum Bachelor\'s Degree in any discipline. Diploma holders with relevant experience may be considered as well.
Experience:
With a minimum of 1 to 3 years in an admin or inventory control environment, preferably within Logistics
Prior experience in the GCC (UAE experience preferred) in the similar industry is an added advantage
Skills:
Fluency in English is a must (Must be able to \xe2\x80\x9cRead\xe2\x80\x9d, \xe2\x80\x9cWrite\xe2\x80\x9d and \xe2\x80\x9cCommunicate\xe2\x80\x9d); Knowledge of Arabic is preferred but not mandatory.
