Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and cooking of burgers, sides, and sauces according to Flare Burger's recipes and standards.
Ensure consistent portion sizes, presentation, and quality of all menu items.
Support the Head Chef with inventory management, receiving, and stock rotation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and storage areas.
Follow food safety regulations, including HACCP guidelines.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Assist in training new kitchen staff as needed.
Help in daily opening and closing duties of the kitchen.
Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a line cook, commis chef, or assistant chef (burger or fast-casual experience preferred).
Knowledge of basic kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.
Familiarity with UAE food hygiene and safety standards.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Team player with strong communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Culinary diploma or equivalent certification is a plus.
Knowledge of international burger trends and creative input on specials is a bonus.
Arabic and/or English language proficiency.
