We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Assistant Chef to support our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and ensure smooth daily kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in preparing and cooking meals
Ensure all food items are prepared according to recipes and standards
Wash, cut, and prepare ingredients for daily menu items
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
Follow hygiene, food safety, and sanitation guidelines
Assist in inventory management, stock rotation, and ingredient storage
Support the kitchen team during busy periods
Ensure proper use and cleaning of kitchen equipment
Help with plating and presentation of dishes
Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
Requirements
Previous experience as an Assistant Chef, Kitchen Helper, or similar role preferred
Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays if required
Good hygiene and awareness of food safety standards
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
