Assistant Chef

to join our kitchen team in Abu Dhabi.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Chef will support the Head Chef in the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency in food preparation. You'll play a key role in maintaining kitchen standards, assisting in menu execution, and contributing to the team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in a timely manner Support the Head Chef with kitchen operations, stock control, and food storage Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the kitchen Ensure consistency in presentation and taste across all dishes Monitor and minimize food waste Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new recipes or improve existing ones Comply with all food safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in a restaurant or cafe Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and kitchen hygiene practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Culinary diploma or equivalent certification is a plus Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
