Business Development Manager - Domestic and International
This role will develop new domestic and international clients and attain revenue goals set for given sales territory. Also, will provide comprehensive transportation solutions for customers and analyze needs to create logistics solutions for the customers and commitment to service excellence. In addition, maintain existing business volumes while prospecting for new business opportunities within a specific sales territory. This individual will successfully market the company\xe2\x80\x99s transportation services as well as their warehousing and distribution services. Responsibilities:

In addition, maintain existing business volumes while prospecting for new business opportunities within a specific sales territory. This individual will successfully market the company\xe2\x80\x99s transportation services as well as their warehousing and distribution services. Responsibilities:
- Plan weekly sales calls.
- Create a target sales list and build a pipeline.
- Solicit new business opportunities.
- Maintain current business relationships.
- Improve profitability.
- Assist with Requests for Proposal (RFP\'s)
- Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOP\'s) for customer instructions.
- Identify new business opportunities within a specified territory by cold calling.
- Follow up on all sales leads.
- Participate with pricing analysis.
- Prepare and execute sales presentations.
- Participate in sales meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred. (Or an equivalent combination of work and education. / Equivalent combination of work experience)
- Minimum five years industry experience preferred
- Strong experience in transportation industry/sales.
- Existing customer base and an established network of contacts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively plan and organize appointments and meet reporting deadlines.
- Must have excellent networking skills.
- Participation in industry-related organizations.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Proven record of sales success.
- Hidd: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
