Position Overview
The Area Visual Merchandiser role is responsible for delivering consistent, brand-right visual presentation across multiple retail stores in Dubai, UAE. This position drives product visibility, customer experience, and commercial performance while ensuring store teams are trained and compliant with visual merchandising standards and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
Visual Merchandising Execution

  • Implement brand visual merchandising guidelines across all stores within the assigned area.
  • Ensure product displays, mannequins, focal tables, windows, and POS materials meet global brand standards.
  • Execute monthly floor-set changes, product launches, campaigns, and promotional updates.
  • Maintain store layouts, space planning, product adjacencies, and zoning for optimal customer flow.
  • Ensure timely setup of seasonal themes, sale periods, and in-store storytelling.
Store Visits and Compliance
  • Conduct regular store visits to review visual standards and operational readiness.
  • Use visual merchandising checklists and compliance audits to track execution and improvements.
  • Report gaps and corrective actions to the Regional Visual Merchandising Manager.
  • Ensure stock availability, replenishment, and product density support visual guidelines.
Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Work closely with Retail Operations, Store Managers, Merchandising, and Marketing teams to execute campaigns.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain on fixture availability, space planning, and visual equipment needs.
  • Align visual execution with buying plans and seasonal sell-through priorities.
Training and Development
  • Train Store Managers, Supervisors, and Sales Associates on visual standards, folding techniques, mannequin dressing, and floor maintenance.
  • Create simple visual merchandising guides and quick-reference training materials.
  • Support onboarding of new store staff on brand visual expectations.
Commercial Impact
  • Apply visual strategies that support conversion, average transaction value, and sell-through improvement.
  • Analyze store performance and identify opportunities for high-impact visual displays.
  • Optimize product performance through zoning changes and feature walls.
  • Support new store openings, renovations, and layout changes.
Fixtures, Props, and Inventory Handling
  • Maintain inventory of visual merchandising props, mannequins, and fixtures.
  • Report damaged fixtures and support timely replacement.
  • Assist with rollout of new concepts and furniture updates.
People Management
  • Set clear objectives and performance targets aligned with organizational goals.
  • Mentor and guide team members to build capability, efficiency, and consistency.
  • Apply structured performance management practices to monitor progress and achieve KPIs.
  • Foster a results-oriented culture through regular feedback and coaching.
Ideal Profile
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in the retail industry with multi-site visual merchandising responsibility.
  • Strong understanding of commercial visual merchandising and brand presentation.
  • Ability to train and influence store teams across multiple locations.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to link visual execution to sales performance.
