Job Description
One of the leading Medical Devices companies is actively recruiting an Area Sales Manager to be based in Oman. - Responsible for driving effective sales plans for the achievement of sales objectives
- Identifying and acquiring new customers
- Building a strong pipeline and ensuring accurate sales forecasting and account planning
- Implementing price and promotion strategies
- Improving efficiency and driving continuous improvements within the assigned team
- Ensuring the execution of KPIs
- Developing strong working relationship with distributors within Oman
- Engaging in product demonstration and clinical evaluation
- Maintaining product knowledge
- Preparing and reviewing the annual budget for the area of responsibility
- Providing leadership on hiring and employee retention
- Preparing regular reports and participating in regular meetings to review performance
- Must hold a degree in “Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, or medical related field
- Postgraduate in Business Administration would be a plus
- Leadership experience
- Experienced in sales planning, trend analysis, distributor operations management and market development
- Minimum 10 years of working experience in a sales/business development/key account management role
- Experience working with distributors
- Experience in products registration
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills
