We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Area Sales Manager (FMCG) to led and manage sales operations across assigned territories. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing a sales team, achieving business targets, and ensuring effective distribution of FMCG products within the market
.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Manage, mentor and motivate sales teams and supervisor to maximize performance
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key clients.
Monitor stock levels, product availability, and ensure timely market supply.
Conduct regular market visits to evaluate performance, competitor, and opportunities for growth.
Plan and implement promotional activities and trade marketing initiatives.
Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market insights for management.
Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing, and trade terms.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field (MBA) preferred.
4-8 Years of proven sales experience in FMCG, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship building abilities.
Proficient in MS office and sales reporting tools.
Strong analytical, planning, and decision making skills.
Ability to work under pressure and travel extensively within assigned territory.
Driving License Must
