DEPARTMENT You will be part of FLSmidth' s Cement Service Business Line - Aftermarket. This position located in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

ROLE We are looking to hire a highly motivated and results-oriented individual to join our team as an Area Sales Manager for our Service/ Aftermarket Cement Business in Saudi Arabia. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building, and maintaining strong customer relationships, and achieving revenue targets in the assigned territory.

This is an individual contributor role working within our "POD" team structure reporting to the Head of Sales for the Sub-Cluster.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the sales activities in the assigned territory, which includes identifying and targeting potential customers, understanding market trends, and developing sales strategies to maximize business opportunities to sell our aftermarket spare parts, wear parts and professional services.

Act as the primary customer contact, building and maintaining strong relationships with the key decision-makers and Stakeholders with excellent customer service. In addition to maintain comprehensive account plans for our key accounts.

Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve/over-achieve the assigned sales targets. Monitor sales performance, analyze market data, and adjust strategies as needed to ensure consistent growth.

Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and build the value propositions as well as the ROI to the customers to differentiate FLSmidth products and services.

Collaborate with internal teams to maximize sales potential and prepare comprehensive and competitive proposals based on customer requirements, including engineering, project management, and legal, to ensure accurate and timely submission of proposals.

Negotiate commercial terms and conditions with customers to secure orders and contracts. Also, ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements during the negotiation process.

Visit installations sites to consult with customers and support on equipment operations, replacement, requirements, and pending scope of work-if any.

Complete regular entries and updates in CRM application including opportunities, Contacts, appointments, and Sales reports. Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for the management team. Provide accurate and timely information on sales activities, pipeline, and market trends to facilitate effective decision-making. This role requires frequent travel within the assigned territory to meet customers, attend industry events, and visit project sites. Flexibility and willingness to travel are essential for success in this position. What you bring

Bachelor's degree in engineering. Master's degree is plus. Minimum 8 years of experience in sales, preferably in the cement industry or related sectors. Knowledge of industry & cement process equipment. Pro-active nature with effective communication & presentations skill in English & Arabic- written and spoken and strong problem-solving skills. Experience with the Saudi Market is preferable. Eagerness to travel, 70-80% of time should be spent conducting visits to our customers. Ideal residential location would be in United Arab Emirates.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering or Chemical Engineering from a reputed University. Master's degree is plus.

EXPERIENCE Minimum 8 years of experience in sales, preferably in the cement industry or related sectors.
