About the Role



We are looking for a

dynamic, proactive, and result-oriented Area Sales Lead (ASL)

to join our high-performing sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving market presence, managing retailer relationships, and leading execution excellence in your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities



As an Area Sales Lead, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening iD's presence in the market and enhancing customer experiences through:

Sales Growth & Execution

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Ensure timely product replenishment and minimal stockouts through close coordination with supply and logistics teams. Monitor distributor and retail-level performance and take corrective action as needed.

Market Expansion & Brand Visibility

Identify new market opportunities and expand iD's footprint within the assigned territory. Enhance visibility of the iD brand through execution of trade marketing activities, in-store promotions, and sampling events.

Customer Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key retailers, distributors, and channel partners. Address customer concerns and ensure high levels of satisfaction and service.

Team Management

Lead, guide, and motivate the on-ground sales and distribution team. Monitor daily activities, set goals, and provide ongoing feedback to improve team performance.

Reporting & Market Intelligence

Conduct regular market visits to gather competitive insights and market feedback. Analyze sales reports, market trends, and customer preferences; provide actionable inputs to management. Prepare and share periodic updates on sales performance and growth opportunities.

Key Requirements



Educational Qualification:



Graduate in any discipline.

MBA in Sales/Marketing or related field

is a plus.

Experience:



Minimum 5 years

of experience in field sales or territory management, preferably in the

food manufacturing/FMCG industry

. Experience managing distributor networks and retail channels is highly desirable.
