This position works out of our Dubai office in the Nutricion Division. The nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow, to keeping adult bodies strong and active. As the Area Finance Controller, you\xe2\x80\x99ll have the chance to manage all financial planning and reporting responsibilities in the region (Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan) through implementation of appropriate processes and internal controls.

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do

• Develop appropriate financial strategies and implement strategic initiatives aligned to Nutricion Division priorities.
• Lead the quarterly financial forecasting process and long term planning process to ensure the latest financial projections include robust assumptions supported by data and insights, taking into account all applicable risks and opportunities.
• Manage the Area S&OP process and provide monthly updates in Division S&OP including latest demand forecast, supply issues, and channel inventory situation.
• Provide support to Nutricion Division through effective financial analysis, evaluation of financial performance, financial justification for business decisions, gross-to-net & SG&A analysis, gross margin improvement initiatives, OEM modeling, process simplification, risk evaluation, development of data-driven insight capabilities, and return on investment modeling.
• Summarize and communicate complex financial situations in a clear and concise manner.
• Build a strong internal control environment, including effective monitoring of channel inventory reporting and gross-to-net oversight.
• Develop robust succession planning and ensure development plans are in place for key finance roles and talent within the region.
• Lead the MENAP Cost Leadership committee and establish a robust cost leadership mindset within the Area, focusing on eliminating waste, reducing market returns and expired product, and optimizing gross-to-net and SG&A investments.
• Build demand planning capabilities within the region with a focus on improving forecast accuracy and bias, harmonizing best practices across affiliates, and managing supply and channel inventory effectively.
• Identify and manage economic and political risks within the region including foreign currency and devaluation impacts on demand and unpredictable government actions.
• Monitor the region\xe2\x80\x99s monthly financial performance and cash flow against latest financial commitment. Ensure senior management is advised timely on financial exposure and issues.
• Advise senior management on opportunities for profit maximization, resource prioritization, and negotiations on new contracts. Anticipate market dynamics that can impact business.
• Work closely with cross functional teams in affiliates and in the region including Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Commercial Excellence in order to drive favorable business performance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree of Financial/Accounting/Business Administration or relevant degrees.
• Minimum 12 years experience in finance/accounting at a senior level with proven success is a must.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, nutricion or/and FMCG industry is a must.
• Experience in compliance or/and in regulatory areas.
• Consulting background \xe2\x80\x93 is an advantage.
• Experience in leading a team of finance professionals.
• Demonstrated experience in working in multinational companies and cross-functional environments.
• Proficient in English communication.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking and collaboration skills required.
