Architecture & Project Manager Working With Lead Developer

In this role, you'll support the lead developer directly as part of the architectural and project management team, facilitating communication and execution between design and development phases. This role is a hybrid of design leadership and project management, serving as the primary link between internal architecture/design teams and the lead developer. You'll manage interior architecture projects from concept through handover, coordinating technical and aesthetic alignment between design, project teams, contractors, and the lead developer.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee design packages, drawings, and documentation through all project phases Collaborate closely with the lead developer/main developer to translate design ideas into executable plans Review drawings for compliance with vision, budget, and standards Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables Liaise with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution Oversee master plan & detailed design coordination Review submissions to ensure alignment with developer's design vision and regulatory requirements Liaise with structural, MEP, QA/QC, and external consultants Manage budgets, schedules, and stakeholder communications Ensure timely delivery of quality outputs and compliance with building authority processes Ensure stepping between design team and lead developer priorities track milestones, project risks, and technical deliverables Support design review sessions, attend site meetings, and enforce quality controls Ensure the progress and update reports for internal and client stakeholders

Qualifications:

Bachelor's in Architecture (or related design field) 10+ years experience in architecture/project management in UAE Background working with developers or large-scale mixed-use projects Ability to interface directly with developer teams and external consultants Familiar with permitting procedures (DM, DDA, Trakhees), cost control, and resource planning Strong software skills (Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, MS Project) Proven ability to align design team goals with developer expectations Excellent communication in English (Arabic a plus) Strong technical coordination skills and project tools (MS Project, Primavera, BIM) Good interpersonal and negotiation skills Willingness to collaborate closely with both design and developer teams
