Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Architectural Supervising Engineer

to oversee architectural works on-site and ensure construction activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules. The ideal candidate will work closely with consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure successful and timely project delivery.

Note:

UPDA / MMUP Certification is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise architectural works on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to approved project schedules Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements Coordinate with civil, MEP, and structural teams to resolve design and site-related issues Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks Ensure implementation of safety standards and compliance with site regulations Prepare site reports, progress reports, snag lists, and handover documentation Attend coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and clients Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and project requirements
Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering

Minimum 5-8 years of experience

in architectural site supervision Proven experience in building construction projects (residential, commercial, or mixed-use) Proficient in

AutoCAD and MS Office

; basic knowledge of Revit is an advantage Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and architectural finishes Ability to read, interpret, and review architectural drawings and specifications Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills
Mandatory Requirement

UPDA / MMUP Certification - Required

Preferred

High-rise building project experience Fit-out and interior works supervision experience Gulf / Qatar project experience Knowledge of local authority approvals and regulations
