Description Guardian Glass is looking to hire an Architectural Sales Manager to join our Commercial Team in Egypt
What You Will Do In Your Role
Responsibilities
Support technical sales efforts of the high value-added glass and commodity products for commercial, residential and specialty segments in Egypt
Execute on sales of Value added and High Value-added glass products
Maintain and build relationships with key decision makers including developers, general contractors, subcontractors, architects, consultants, Aluminum Fabricators and glass processors to secure the use of our products on relevant construction projects in the region
Supports region specific sales and marketing strategies that will ensure continued growth in the region such as coordinating technical training events with glass processors, aluminum fabricators and architects
Collects, organizes, maintains and updates region specific client databases utilizing CRM tool to further marketing and sales objectives
Actively participates and helps define the continued development of the segment strategy for Egypt Market providing key insights and perspectives
Assists in the development, management and implementation of marketing and promotional activities specific to the designated region

Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
At least five years of prior technical sales experience in solar control coated glass products or any other application in relation to curtain-walling and steel-framed construction industry
A minimum of five years of successful sales experience in Egypt or Africa
Fluency in English and Arabic with the ability to read, write, and speak (Good to have French language as well)
Familiar with Microsoft Office platform (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
A developed database of key influencers/contacts in construction in the Egyptian market
What Will Put You Ahead
Preferred Qualifications:
Sales experience and technical expertise in solar control coated products and curtain-wall construction
A degree in architecture, business and/or Civil/Structural Engineering
Comfortable reviewing architectural plans and details
Understanding of the job specification process and curtain-wall construction practices in the Egyptian Market Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Highly motivated and action oriented with strong aptitude in economic thinking and problem solving
