We are assisting our client which is a leading provider of heavy fabrication and site construction services to Oil & Gas clients in the Middle East, located in Abu Dhabi, Mussafah, and working sites are located on the Western Side of UAE. We are looking to hire Architectural Designer of the following below: Job Purpose: Responsible for creating and controls all drawings and specifications for construction based on equations, calculations, and written instructions provided by designers and engineers for use during the construction process at the job site. Prepare sketches and shop drawings for fabrication, sections, and elevation as per the actual measurement. Able to use manual drafting skills to draw plans that cannot be done or generated by computer as it entails fine-tuning and revising of plans to meet construction and architectural requirements. Experience Requirements:

• 8-10 years of experience of which 4 to 5 years off -shore experience with advance knowledge in architectural design engineering, obtainable usually through a combination of experience and continuing education
• Must have OIL & GAS experience
• In depth knowledge of SOLAS and fire protection

Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture
• Knowledge of architectural design and engineering techniques, preparation of MTO's, BOQ's, and Estimations. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, PDMS, Revit and 3d software's. Experienced and Knowledge in Marine requirements and Classifications is an advantage.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conferring with architects and/or engineers, a draftsman initially gains an understanding of the scope and requirements of a project.
• Prepares and revises engineering drawings, shop drawings, details, sections, charts and similar documents as directed.
• Should be familiar with SOLAS standards.
• Utilizing both manual drawing skills as wells as computer-based application, such as automated computer-assisted drafting,
• Creates both two-dimensional and three-dimensional renderings of the project if required.
• Make simple but professional computation through the use of tables, charts, etc.
• Following a discussion of any alterations that need to occur,
• Make red mark up and reflect then to as built drawings, isometric layout as per Clients requirements and standard specification
• Prepares bar schedules and other construction notes
• Prepares Material take-off and bill of materials
• Acquire further knowledge by attending training courses and or seminars required by the Company
• With conceptualization skills to visualize finished drawings and assigned projects.
• Ability to generate complete discipline drawings with minimal Engineer's supervision.
• Responsible in preparing architectural construction drawings, shop drawings and as-built drawings
• Ensures that all activities are performed within the provisions of the Integrated Management System requirements
• Responsible in preparing MTO's, BOQ's, etc. as required by the Head
