Job Description

Job Purpose:

This position is to manage and repsonsible for plan, design, coordinate, and oversee architectural aspects of building construction projects, ensuring design integrity, compliance with codes, aesthetic quality, and structural practicality throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop architectural design concepts and detailed construction drawings for building projects. Review and validate architectural plans to ensure compliance with project requirements, building codes, and zoning regulations. Coordinate with structural, MEP, and civil engineering teams to integrate architectural requirements. Conduct site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure work adheres to approved designs and quality standards. Participate in material selection and specification to ensure durability, sustainability, and aesthetic appeal. Assist in the preparation of BOQ (Bill of Quantities), tender documents, and design reports. Resolve design-related issues arising during construction and propose practical solutions. Ensure the implementation of health, safety, and environmental standards in architectural design and site execution. Prepare and present architectural proposals to clients, consultants, and project stakeholders. Stay updated with modern architectural trends, technologies, and local regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering. Minimum 10+ years of experience in architectural design and site execution for building construction projects. UPDA/MMUP certification (for Qatar-based roles) is an advantage. Strong understanding of local building codes, construction methods, and material specifications.
