We are seeking a skilled Architectural Draftsman with experience in high-rise and commercial building projects. The candidate will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed architectural drawings, coordinating with engineers and site teams, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and local authority requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed architectural drawings, layouts, and shop drawings based on design concepts, specifications, and site measurements.
Coordinate with the design team, engineers, and project managers to ensure drawings align with project requirements.
Review and modify drawings according to feedback from consultants and clients.
Ensure all drawings comply with local building codes, authority standards, and project specifications.
Conduct site visits to gather necessary information and verify details.
Maintain proper documentation and revision control for all drawings.
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for material detailing and specifications.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Architecture or related field.
Minimum
3 years of experience
as an Architectural Draftsman, preferably with a
contractor
working on high-rise building projects.
Proficiency in
AutoCAD
, Revit, and other relevant drafting/design software.
Strong understanding of UAE building codes and Dubai Municipality regulations.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience with major developers and consultants in the UAE.
Knowledge of material specifications and construction detailing.
