Azizi Developments is seeking a skilled Architectural Draftsman to support the design and construction delivery of residential, mixed-use, and landmark projects across Dubai. This role plays a key part in translating architectural concepts into accurate construction-ready drawings while ensuring full compliance with UAE regulations and authority requirements.

Role Summary
The Architectural Draftsman will prepare detailed architectural, shop, joinery, and as-built drawings, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and support authority submissions and site execution. The role requires strong AutoCAD expertise, attention to detail, and experience working within UAE building codes and approval processes.
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, shop drawings, joinery drawings, and as-built documentation using AutoCAD or approved drafting software
• Develop plans, elevations, sections, details, and 3D drawings required for project execution
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, and contractors to ensure drawing accuracy and consistency
• Ensure all drawings comply with UAE building codes, local municipality regulations, and authority submission standards
• Support design and construction phases through site measurements, inspections, and coordination
• Update and revise drawings based on consultant and client comments, RFIs, and site conditions
• Maintain drawing registers and ensure proper document control procedures
• Assist in preparing authority submission packages and follow up on approvals when required
• Work closely with project teams to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality output

Ideal Profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Architectural Drafting
• Proven experience as an Architectural Draftsman in the UAE
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit or BIM is an advantage
• Good understanding of UAE building codes and authority submission processes
• Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills
