We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Architectural Draftsman to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will prepare high-quality architectural drawings, support design teams, and ensure all documentation complies with project and regulatory standards. Strong CAD drafting skills and knowledge of architectural details are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare architectural drawings (plans, sections, elevations, details) using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
Convert sketches and design concepts into accurate technical drawings.
Revise, update, and maintain drawing sets based on engineer/architect feedback.
Coordinate with structural, MEP, and interior teams to ensure drawing compatibility.
Produce shop drawings and as-built drawings.
Ensure compliance with Qatar Construction Standards (QCS) and local authority requirements (e.g., Ashghal, Civil Defense, Municipality).
Maintain CAD standards, drawing files, and documentation.
Assist in material schedules, layouts, and project detailing when required.
Requirements
Diploma or Certificate in Architectural Drafting / Architecture / CAD Technology.
At least 3 years of experience as an Architectural Draftsman (Qatar/GCC experience preferred).
Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or BIM tools is an advantage.
Good understanding of architectural detailing, finishes, and construction methods.
Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings accurately.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
UPDA is a plus.
