Job Opportunity: Architectural BIM Modeler

Onix Engineering Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled and motivated

Architectural BIM Modeler

to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in BIM environments and be capable of delivering high-quality architectural models that meet project requirements and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Perform

BIM modeling and design support

for architectural projects.

Coordinate and manage Revit models

across disciplines. Create and develop

Revit families

as needed. Receive and execute work assignments for specific design elements. Review all deliverables for

accuracy and completeness

. Use internal

quality control checklists

before submissions. Deliver work within assigned deadlines. Provide

accurate weekly timesheets

with detailed descriptions. Handle

printing and plotting

requests when required. Demonstrate a

proactive approach

in learning new digital design tools and workflows. Ensure compliance with approved

BIM Execution Plans (BEP)

and

BIM Scope Plans

. Set up

project base files

and maintain organized file structures. Assemble

composite design models

for coordination meetings. Facilitate

clash detection sessions

, prepare reports, and track resolution of hard & soft clashes. Coordinate

BIM file exchange

and properly archive milestone submissions.

Knowledge & Expertise (preferred)

Strong proficiency in

Autodesk Revit

and BIM workflows. Understanding of architectural drawings, detailing, and construction standards. Experience with

Navisworks

,

AutoCAD

, and other relevant BIM tools. Knowledge of industry-standard BIM protocols and documentation. Strong communication and coordination skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
