Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Architect

with proven

Substation project design experience

to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The candidate must have prior exposure to

UAE-based projects

and be capable of handling architectural design, coordination, and authority compliance for utility and power infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare architectural design concepts, layouts, and detailed drawings for

substation projects

. Develop architectural drawings including plans, elevations, sections, and details in line with project specifications and standards. Coordinate with structural, MEP, and electrical teams to ensure integrated design delivery. Ensure compliance with

UAE authority regulations

, local codes, and client requirements. Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and coordination workshops. Support authority submissions, approvals, and technical clarifications. Review shop drawings and material submittals related to architectural scope. Assist during construction stage for design clarifications and site coordination as required.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture. Minimum

5+ years of architectural design experience

, with

substation / power utility projects

. Prior experience working on

UAE projects

is mandatory. Proficient in

AutoCAD

(Revit knowledge is an advantage). Good understanding of utility standards, building codes, and authority requirements in the UAE. Strong coordination, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and meet tight project deadlines.

Preferred

Experience with AD authorities and utility clients. Immediate or short-notice availability.
