Key Responsibilities:

Design and Planning: Develop

architectural and interior design concepts, creating detailed drawings, specifications, and 2D/3D plans using design software.

Client Collaboration: Work

closely with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budget, presenting design proposals and incorporating feedback.

Materials and Finishes: Select

appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings, considering aesthetics, functionality, and budget.

Project Management: Oversee

project timelines, manage budgets, coordinate with contractors, and ensure quality control during construction.

Code Compliance:

Ensure designs comply with building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility guidelines.

Collaboration and Communication:

Effectively communicate with clients, contractors, engineers, and other professionals throughout the project lifecycle.

Technical Skills:

Possess strong technical skills in design software, blueprint reading, and construction practices.

Creative and Analytical Skills:

Be able to translate creative ideas into practical and functional designs, while also analyzing project requirements and constraints.
Typical Responsibilities:

Conceptual Design: Develop

initial design concepts and sketches based on client needs and project requirements.

Space Planning: Plan

and optimize interior spaces for functionality and aesthetics.

Material Selection: Choose

appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings that complement the overall design.

Drawing and Specifications: Create

detailed architectural and interior design drawings and specifications.

Cost Estimation: Provide
