Our client from Interior Fit out is now looking to recruit an Architect-Fit out , who will be responsible for developing conceptual and detailed design proposals to meet the Fit out needs of the company Stakeholders and Concessionaires. The job holder will have high level of autonomy in deciding his/her day to day operations as they will be expected to visit proposed/active projects across both estates and therefore will at times need to work outdoors supervising the Fit -out Design team in surveys and studies.
This is a one year contract with a possibility of extension

Responsibilities include,

Provide Fit out Subject Matter Expertise (SME) and competence to internal stakeholders to aid informed technical and operational decision-making. Manage the architectural design ensuring that projects are subjected to the required due diligence to ensure consistent quality of built assets with a predictable operational outcome Liaise and integrate with all relevant engineering disciplines to ensure that the design meets the Clients quality, budget and time requirements. Perform reviews of third-party designs to ensure compliance to company standards and policies as well as relevant local and international specifications Continuously monitor and report the progress of the Fit-out Design - architectural workstream projects in terms of safety, budget, schedule, quality etc. Contribute to the monitoring and reporting of supply chain key deliverable and associated KPIs. Contribute to post project reviews including the identification of opportunities for participating in change initiatives, programmes and projects in alignment to leading practices, improvement of processes and productivity improvement.

Requirements

The job holder will possess sound knowledge in,

Architectural design and detailing (interior design, products and finishes etc.) Design and construction management Project management methodologies such as PMI or PRINCE 2 Financial knowledge including budget setting and monitoring Stakeholder management The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in architectural engineering/Interior Design/Building Surveying with an industry experience of a minimum of 5 years in Fit out/Architectural practice.
