Role Overview
The
Architect
will be responsible for developing concept designs, architectural plans, and detailed drawings while ensuring adherence to client requirements, regulatory standards, and structural feasibility. The role requires a keen eye for design, practical knowledge of local authority regulations, and experience with
villa, low-rise, and renovation/modification projects
.
Key Responsibilities
Create conceptual and detailed design proposals in line with client briefs and project goals
Prepare architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, and 3D models
Coordinate with structural, MEP, and civil teams to ensure design accuracy and integration
Handle submissions to relevant authorities (Dubai Municipality, DDA, Trakheesi, etc.) and manage approval processes
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor implementation and design compliance
Manage architectural documentation, revisions, and updates throughout project stages
Participate in design reviews and value engineering processes as needed
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
Minimum 5 years of relevant villa and building construction experience
At least 3 years of experience working in Dubai
Currently based in Dubai
(applications from outside Dubai will not be considered)
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, and other design tools
Deep understanding of UAE building codes, authority submission protocols, and zoning regulations
Excellent spatial awareness, creativity, and project coordination skills
Strong communication and presentation abilities
UAE driving license is a plus
