About the Role:

Blue Square Group is seeking a detail-oriented and communicative

Architect

with specialized experience in

steel construction projects

. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of architectural design for steel structures, excellent knowledge of

UAE building regulations and approvals

, and strong coordination abilities with various stakeholders and authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and oversee architectural designs specifically for

steel construction

projects. Prepare and modify drawings, BOQs, and detailed documentation to support project requirements. Manage the

approval process with UAE authorities

such as Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, etc. Ensure compliance with UAE building codes, fire & safety regulations, and zoning laws. Collaborate with internal teams, structural engineers, steel fabricators, and site personnel. Provide technical support during design development and construction execution. Communicate effectively with consultants, clients, and government officials throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct site visits and design inspections to ensure quality and adherence to approved plans.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture (a Master's is a plus).

Minimum 2 years of architectural experience in the UAE

. Prior experience in

steel structures

and industrial/commercial projects is

required

. Strong portfolio showcasing steel-based architectural designs. Familiarity with authority submission procedures and approval requirements. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other relevant architectural tools. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Knowledge of structural behavior of steel in design is a strong advantage.
