Our Client, an established Middle East consultancy, who strive to innovate and offer a rewarding and collaborative work environment, are seeking an Architect to join their team. The successful candidate will be seconded into an established Developer to work in the Architecture & Design team focussing on mixed use developments.

Responsibility will predominantly focus on delivering high quality design and 3D visualization outcomes through assisting in effective functional planning, customer focused design solutions and enhancement of the Developer\'s brand. The Architect will support in creating the project vision, contribute to the design concept and safeguarding the design intent from concept to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the production of conceptual and functional architectural layouts, with a solid understanding of design principals for retail, shopping malls and mixed-use projects.
• Capable of conceptualizing visions and ideas that are unique, creative and assist in preparation of feasibility packages and functional drawings.
• Assist in the design and implementation of retail planning basics, mixed-use and residential masterplanning visions with emphasis on presentation quality and materials.
• Demonstrate good level of understanding of the customer journey and experimenting with stimulating, new to market ideas, for various typologies of retail, shopping malls, mixed-use, open spaces and public amenities in accordance with the project brief and Developer\'s standards.
• Produce high quality conceptual and architectural plans and masterplans through different mediums from hand sketches to 2D drawings and supplement with necessary imagery and documentation that are essential for high quality presentation packages.
• Produce high level of 3D imagery & renderings adopting the latest technology and softwares to assist in the production of design packages at a high quality for internal and external presentations.
• Assist in conducting periodic design review and support in making design recommendations for specific issues as requested by the design team.
• Ensure adherence to the Developer brand quality, acting as a design center of excellence.
• Assist in building, reviewing and updating design standards in an evolving document that is coordinated across all stakeholders.
• Ensure the use of modern technological systems and processes and advise on latest programs that could elevate the quality of presentations and enhance in-house renderings
• Ensure compliance with the Developer\'s Code of Conduct, Departmental policies and HC Policies and Procedures at all times.
• Be the advocate and ambassador of aligning and cascading the Developer\'s values and ensure that relevant team adheres to and exhibit the same all the time.
• Lead by example - thrive to create an honest and open work environment where individuals collaborate /support each other as a team and are passionate to achieve a common business objective.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in Architecture or equivalent.

• 3 - 6 years of work experience in retail planning design, commercial, residential, mixed-use and master-planning design with proficiency in 3D renderings, within reputed companies in GCC or abroad.

• Experienced in the use of AutoCAD, Revit & BIM, SketchUp, Lumion, 3DS and other 3D visualization softwares, Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office software.

• Must be a team player, confident, flexible and a forward thinker.
