Responsibilities: 1. Planning & Design Stage: v Creating building designs and highly detailed drawings by using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) applications. v Develop and produce design schemes which is viable in terms of "build ability" and in terms of local authority guidelines, planning structures and building legislation. v Working around constraining factors such as planning legislation, environmental impact and project budget. v Participate in the meeting for discussion of ideas, objectives, requirements and budget of a project. v Provide the client with sound clear proposal at the outset of the project about the design/development potential; approximate building costs; the need for various statutory consents; project programming, and likely time scales. v Prepare and present feasibility reports as required and design proposals to the client. v Evaluate project impacts and escalate issues and risks approximately. v Ensure product and services delivered to attain client satisfaction. v Provide quality customer service delivering solutions, meeting client's expectations relative to design, image, productivity and quality. v Develop precise work plans, process and action steps supporting company's overall strategies and achieve results. 2. Documentation Stage: v Prepare tender applications and presentations. v Produce all necessary documents/drawings, schedules etc. with collaboration with the planning engineer & finance in preparing the tender documents. v Study Contract Agreement between SAEC and Contractors and or Suppliers for any discrepancies and lapses. v Ensure solutions developed across organization are aligned to architectural standards and principles, leverage common solutions and services, and meet financial targets (cost and benefits). 3. Construction Stage: v Adapting plans according to circumstances and resolving problems and issues that arises during construction. v Conduct site visit if required to ensure that the environmental impact of the project is managed, the project status and report on project. v Provide clarification about the design and specifications by responding to RFI's (Request for Information) when request. v Review project documentation as requested to ensure it meets standard is horizontally integrated and fulfills the process strategy of organization. v Direct support implementation and maintain standards promoting achievement of successful design execution.
