Job Description

The Architect will be responsible for developing, designing, and reviewing architectural drawings and ensuring design compliance with client requirements, local building codes, and project specifications. The role involves coordination with clients, consultants, engineers, and site teams to ensure smooth execution of design intent during construction.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed architectural drawings, layouts, and specifications for construction projects. Develop conceptual designs and presentations for client approval. Coordinate with structural, MEP, and interior design teams to ensure integrated and functional design solutions. Review and approve shop drawings, materials, and samples submitted by contractors. Conduct site visits to monitor design implementation and resolve any architectural issues on-site. Ensure all designs comply with Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS) and local authority regulations. Prepare and update BOQs, schedules, and design documentation as required. Assist in tendering, cost estimation, and value engineering processes when needed. Collaborate with project management to ensure design deliverables are achieved on time and within budget. Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure design intent is fully understood and maintained during execution.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture. Minimum

5 years of experience

in architecture, preferably within construction or design & build companies in Doha or the GCC. Strong knowledge of

AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, and Adobe Suite

. Familiarity with local authorities' requirements (Ashghal, Civil Defense, Municipality, etc.). Excellent communication, coordination, and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure. Experience in

fit-out and interior design projects

is an advantage. Strong visualization and 3D modeling skills. Detail-oriented with a creative and practical approach to design and problem-solving.
