Architect - Design Development
Job Location : Dubai, UAE
Key Responsibilities :

• Develop architectural designs from schematic phase through detailed design development.
• Prepare comprehensive drawing packages, including plans, elevations, sections, and details, adhering to local codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with other disciplines, including structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineers, to ensure seamless integration of building systems.
• Contribute to material selection and specifications, considering aesthetics, performance, and budget.
• Review and analyze project requirements and specifications to ensure compliance with design intent.
• Participate in design reviews and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
• Manage and coordinate with junior architects and drafters to ensure project milestones are met.
• Keep abreast of current architectural trends, technologies, and building codes.
• Contribute to the development of design standards and best practices within the firm.
• Assist in resolving design-related issues during the construction phase.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture required.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in design development.
• Proven ability to produce detailed and accurate architectural drawings.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant architectural software.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience working on projects in the Middle East, particularly in Dubai, is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
