This role has the responsibility to manage the Transaction Monitoring Systems projects and BAU initiatives for the bank in a multi-jurisdiction environment. This role requires deep understanding of Transactions Management systems at FAB i.e. SAS AML, SAS FCA and goAML solution architecture and will be responsible for:
- Preparation of solution designs for AML scenarios and STR (suspected transaction reporting) across FAB jurisdictions.
- Prepare infra sizing and architecture in line with NFR and SLA requirements.
- Understand the existing implementation for FAB UAE and support future enhancements.
- Understanding of SAS AML, SAS FCA and goAML solution data model to assist in preparing MIS Reports and other adhoc user queries for fulfillment by support team.
- Prepare data mapping with bank source systems for consumption in SAS AML scenrios
- Prepare interface design for SAS AML, SAS FCA and goAML
- Interact with business to provide design walkthrough and secure sign-off.
- Interacting with internal IT for solution walkthroughs and enable clarity for build.
- Support IT teams in incident RCA preparation.
- Prepare reusable artifacts related to solution.
- Interact with vendor teams to understand intricacies of the software and come out with solutions to provide business benefits.
- Responsible for identifying performance bottlenecks and continuos improvement ideas.
- Ensure effectiveness in reporting through functional data validation and confirmation that the output generated and produced from the system is complete, reconciled against source systems.
- Participate in all project related activities with regards to requirements gathering, planning, implementation, as well as system & user acceptance testing.
- Responsible for end user training and ensuring the required knowledge transfer to key team members is set in place.
- Develop, communicate, maintain, and enforce the overall architecture of the application environments at assigned clients.
- Must be able to prepare Design and Architecture artefacts.
- Understand all solution components and how they inter-operate to support business processes and management information needs
- Responsibility for interface and integration strategies with external systems and processes
- Ensure customer reporting requirements, both compliance and regulatory, are addressed.
- Follow the bank security and process standares in the architecture
- Experience working in diverse environment with different vendors, onsite/offshore teams etc.
- Banking industry knowledge will be an added asset
- Implementation experience of AML solutions(SAS AML, Go AML).
- Strong knowledge in Compliance systems (Transaction monitoring system)
- Design, develop and implement SAS AML solutions in complex banking environments.
- Integrate SAS AML with core banking applications and complex data structures.
- Enhance AML solutions to reduce false positives and improve business / on-boarding processes
- Experience implementing SAS AML solutions integrated to Oracle, DB2 and SQL databases as well as Hadoop and Data Lake environments.
Qualifications
- The candidate should possess University degree in Economics/Commerce / Business Administration /MIS/IT/Computer Science.
- Professional work experience in Bank or I.T. Company for 10 years.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in AML projects implementation in a Compliance domain.
- Mandatory Experience of end to end implementation of SAS AML products.
- Proficiency in project management and team co-ordination to deliver the tasks on time
- Professional certifications in SAS, ACAMS is preferable.
- Good knowledge of compliance domain especially on Transaction Monitoring
- Knowledge about AWS/Azure cloud is an advantage
- Proven project delivery tracks
- Working experience JIRA, Confluence etc.,
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work in both waterfall and SCRUM delivery models.
