Building Design Architect - Submissions & Coordination (Al Ain, UAE)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented

Project Architect

managing project design submissions

coordinating between multidisciplinary teams

(Architecture, Structure, MEP), and

handling authority approvals

through platforms like

MEPS

TAMM

.

This position is ideal for an architect who is both

, ensuring that designs meet regulatory standards while maintaining creativity and efficiency throughout the submission and approval process.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the preparation, submission, and tracking of project approvals via

MEPS (Municipal Electronic Permitting System)

and

TAMM

. Coordinate design integration across all disciplines (Architecture, Structure, MEP, Landscape, etc.) to ensure comprehensive and compliant project submissions. Oversee the design development process to ensure alignment with local authority requirements, client expectations, and international best practices. Liaise directly with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and key project stakeholders to secure timely approvals. Manage technical documentation preparation, including drawings, reports, and authority submittals. Review and validate consultant and contractor submissions for compliance with design intent and regulatory standards. Provide technical guidance to internal teams regarding authority regulations and submission processes. Maintain and update a submission tracking log, monitor deadlines, and proactively address potential delays. Conduct design coordination meetings and communicate regulatory updates to project teams. Support design activities using

AutoCAD 2D

and assist in the preparation of necessary documentation and presentations. Produce periodic reports on submission status, authority feedback, and approval timelines for senior management.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in

Architecture

(mandatory). Minimum

3 years

of relevant UAE experience in architectural design, authority submissions, and multidisciplinary coordination. Strong knowledge of UAE regulations, including experience with

ADM

,

DMT

, and municipal approval procedures. Expertise in the use of

MEPS

and

TAMM

platforms for submission management. Proficiency in

AutoCAD 2D

,

MS Office

, and preferably basic skills in

Revit

and

project management tools

. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Fluency in

English

is mandatory;

Arabic

proficiency is an advantage. Holding an

ADM Professional Engineering License

is a plus. Familiarity with construction documentation standards and multidisciplinary design practices in the UAE market.
