Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and proactive

Safety Engineer (Arabic Speaker)

to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a strong safety culture across all operations. Fluency in Arabic and English is required to effectively communicate and train a diverse workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with local regulations and company standards. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with HSE requirements. Lead incident investigations and prepare detailed reports with corrective and preventive action plans. Deliver safety training sessions and toolbox talks in both Arabic and English. Support management and project teams in risk assessments and job safety analyses (JSA). Maintain accurate records of safety performance, incidents, and corrective measures. Liaise with local authorities, contractors, and internal teams to ensure safe working environments. Participate in safety meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in a safety engineering or HSE role. In-depth knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver training in both Arabic and English. Certified in NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent safety qualification preferred. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work effectively in multicultural and multilingual environments
