Key Responsibilities
Prepare and produce a wide variety of
Arabic pastries
, with strong specialization in
Kunafa, Baklava
, and related desserts.
Ensure authenticity of recipes, taste, texture, and presentation in line with brand standards.
Handle dough preparation, syrup preparation, nut fillings, baking, and finishing techniques.
Maintain consistency in portion size, quality, and appearance of all products.
Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and stock rotation (FIFO).
Maintain high standards of
food hygiene and safety
in compliance with local regulations.
Monitor ingredient quality and report any shortages or issues to the Head Chef.
Assist in developing new dessert items while respecting traditional techniques.
Train and guide junior kitchen staff as required.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry section at all times.
