Bachelor's degree in Science, Veterinary Medicine, or a related field.
Relevant certifications in food safety (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000, SQF, etc.) are a plus.
Auditing certification or experience (e.g., Internal Auditor, Lead Auditor) is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver comprehensive food safety training programs for staff at various levels.
Assess training needs and customize content to meet organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
Ensure all staff understand food safety protocols, hygiene practices, and regulatory compliance.
Conduct practical demonstrations and assessments to reinforce learning.
Keep updated with the latest food safety regulations and industry best practices.
Maintain training records and report on training outcomes.
Collaborate with management to identify areas for improvement in food safety practices.
Maintain and control documentation related to food safety procedures, training records, audits, and certifications.
Conduct internal food safety audits to verify compliance with standards and regulations.
Assist in the development and implementation of document control procedures in compliance with ISO or other relevant standards.
Prepare audit reports and follow-up on corrective actions.
Relevant Skills:
Strong knowledge of food safety standards, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to develop engaging training materials and presentations.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Ability to assess learning needs and adapt training methods accordingly.
Good understanding of food microbiology, hygiene, and sanitation.
Certification in food safety management systems (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000) preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office and training software/tools.
Knowledge of document control systems and procedures.
Experience with document management software (e.g., SharePoint, Documentum, etc.) is a plus.
Auditing skills, including planning, conducting, and reporting on internal audits.
Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining documentation.
Problem-solving skills and adaptability.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Educational Requirements:
