We are seeking a skilled and passionate Arabic Cuisine Cook to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will specialize in preparing authentic Arabic dishes, ensuring high-quality presentation, taste, and consistency, while adhering to hotel standards, hygiene, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a wide variety of traditional Arabic dishes (e.g., hummus, kebabs, mandi, biryani, tabbouleh, shawarma, etc.).
Ensure all food preparation is carried out according to recipes, portion control, and presentation standards.
Monitor and maintain kitchen hygiene, food safety standards, and proper food storage.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to manage daily kitchen operations and meal service.
Ensure all food is prepared fresh and served at the correct temperature.
Assist in menu development specific to Arabic cuisine, seasonal dishes, and guest preferences.
Maintain inventory and assist with ordering ingredients and supplies.
Minimize food waste through proper portion control and use of ingredients.
Adapt and cater to special dietary requirements when necessary (halal, gluten-free, vegetarian).
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience as a cook/chef specializing in Arabic cuisine (minimum 2-3 years preferred).
Knowledge of traditional and modern Arabic cooking techniques and ingredients.
Culinary diploma or relevant certification is an advantage.
Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced hotel kitchen environment.
Team player with strong communication and organizational skills.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
