To prepare and present authentic Arabic dishes that reflect the rich culinary heritage of the Middle East, enhancing LalQila Restaurant's menu and delivering a memorable dining experience to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare a wide range of Arabic dishes including mezze, grills, rice specialties, breads, and desserts
Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning across all Arabic menu items
Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene, food safety, and sanitation
Monitor inventory of Arabic ingredients and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment
Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop seasonal Arabic specials and menu innovations
Train junior kitchen staff in Arabic cooking techniques and presentation styles
Ensure timely preparation and service during peak hours
Adhere to all restaurant policies, health regulations, and HACCP standards
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Arabic Cook in a reputable restaurant or hotel
Deep knowledge of traditional Arabic recipes, spices, and cooking methods
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Basic communication skills in English or Arabic
Certification in food safety and hygiene is preferred
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Culinary training or certification in Arabic cuisine is an advantage
